Sushi!

Today, I have watched true blood, listened to music, dyed my hair and when Ellinor came home we made sushi! I love having a day off from work!

After work today (well, now it's after midnight, so it's technically yesterday), I met my friend Atsuo. We ate at a small cafe in Hampstead. I forgot to bring my camera, so unfortunately I don't have any pictures from there. Atsuo gave me some pins that he got from starbucks. Apparently they are only available to those who work at starbucks, and they have to wear them now during the Olympics. So now I have a nice little souvenir from the Olympics!

The Diner

Tonight, Monty called and asked if Ellinor and I wanted to meet up for dinner, and he suggested The Diner. So we went to The Diner for the second night in a row. However, this time it was in Kensal rise, which turns out to be really close to where we live. It was fun to see Monty. We haven't met him in a while, so it was nice to catch up.

Yesterday evening, I went to Camden with Ellinor and Joe. We started with some drinks and fries at The Diner and after then we went to a club called Proud. It was a really fun night! The club played some good music, we danced a lot and just had a good time. I brought my camera, so I was able to take some pictures!

Rude awakening

This morning was disturbed by the construction workers that are working on our building. It's not nice to wake up by the sound of hammering and drilling, and I don't get why they have to start at 7am... At 9, we decided to get up from bed and go to Gail's to have breakfast there.

Now, I have to get ready for work. Bleh!

Good morning, queens park!

I woke up to the sun peeking in through the curtains, and decided to go and have my breakfast in the park. I have to enjoy the nice weather while I can, because I have work later today (although, I don't start until 6pm). Also, they are saying that it might be raining this weekend. I stayed in the park for a couple of hours, just listening to music and watching what was going on around me. It's so nice to be able to do that sometimes.

Dinner with Terés & co.

Aah, a day off and the weather couldn't be better! Not a single cloud in the sky. So this day has first been spent watching series, while eating some breakfast, and then i headed over to the park and sat there for a while. Later in the evening I went over to Terés and ate dinner with her, her brother and his girlfriend. It was really nice. I stayed there all evening, until I had to take the last train home.

Started this day with some leftover pizza for breakfast and the latest episode of True blood! Now I am listening to some awesome music. I start work at 6 pm and will only have a four hour shift, so it almost feels like I have a day off!

Afternoon/evening in Hampstead

This was a nice day. The first day for quite a while that was without any rain. After work, Atsuo and I went to a nice little café in Hampstead and had coffee and tea. After that we walked to the park and sat there for a little while before meeting up with Ellinor. We then went to a really nice pub. A pub that I haven't really noticed before. We wanted to have some food, but nothing on the menu looked good,so we just had a drink and some crisps.

Free pizza

Ellinor and I decided today on our way home that we didn't feel like cooking, and thought that ordering pizza was a good idea. We just stopped by our flat to drop off some stuff, when we heard a knock on our door. It was our flatmate. He had ordered a pizza and accidentally got the wrong one. When they then came with the right one, they told him he could keep the first one. He didn't want it, and asked if we wanted it. Talk about lucky!

Update about the flat

Yeah, so about the flat that we viewed. We decided to take it, and we decided together with the people that were leaving the room that we would pay the deposit today. However, they texted us last night and told us that a couple that also had been interested had come by and payed the deposit and next months rent in cash. Sneaky! So now we have to keep looking. It's very annoying, but unfortunately very common here in London.

Fail...Kind of

So the night did not turn out as expected. First, we went to Your Mums House, which turned out to be almost empty.

So instead we decided to meet up with the guys from last night and go to the same club as yesterday. When we arrived, however, the bouncer told us our shoes were "too casual". We kind of saw that coming. The place is very posh, but it's a bit annoying that it's that important for girls to wear high heels. I mean, we looked good!

Instead, we went to a club called ruby blue, which we have been to before. We stayed there for just a little while, and then we went home.

Even though the night was kind of a fail, we actually had a lot of fun. We're happy :)

One night, one photo

Yesterday, when I was on my way home from work, Ellinor called me and said that she'd gotten us invited to a night out with free food and drinks. Why not, I said, and the night turned out great! Much better than I expected. The guys we went out with were really nice, and when we came to the club everyone seemed to have a good time.

Unfortunately, I couldn't take any pictures, because the battery of my camera died after one picture. So this is the only thing I can show you from the night:

But don't cry, dear readers! I've charged the battery to my camera, so I will take lots of pictures tonight, when we are going to Your Mum's House!

Whuuut? We are going out again? - Oh yes!

I had work today, and of course I was a bit tired. But I guess I deserved it. My mood, however, went down even more when I accidentally sprayed beer all over myself when I tried to change the beer barrel. Trust me when I say that you don't exactly feel fresh taking the train home after that, smelling like an alcoholic...

Spontanous

Today, I had a day off and spent the day updating my CV, watching series, and bombarding André with good music. Then, Ellinor called on her way home and asked if I wanted to eat at TGI Friday's with her. So I went into central London, and since I had eaten a while ago I wasn't very hungry,so I just had starters and a drink.

After we ate, we went to view a flat. This was very spontanous. Ellinor found the ad yesterday evening, and it seemed really good. When we viewed it we loved it. It's funny how we just stumbled upon it. We have been talking about moving, since we would like to have our own beds, but we hadn't really started looking yet. Now we just have to talk to our current landlady...

Night at Brondes age

Yesterday, Ellinor and I decided that we wanted to go out again. This time it was just the two of us, and we went to a bar called Brondes age and had a couple of drinks. We had a lot of fun, and it was nice to do this after having a really busy shift at work.

 Ellinor had awesome hair!

 My hair - not as awesome. But at least I'm cool :P

I don't start work until 6pm today, so I have some time to relax before work. Right now, I am in the middle of a music war with my flatmate. I had music on in my room, then he started playing loud music in his room, so I turned the volume up, to which he responded with doing the same. Let's see how this ends.
