No spare time

Ok. I normally hate when people use their blog to complain about stuff, but this time I'm making an exception!

The thing is, I am seriously not happy with my job right now. When I came back from Sweden EVERYTHING had changed. For some reason we have a new manager, several people had left, leaving me as the only one working in the bar.On top of that, some idiot had put bottles of rosé wine above the coffee machine, which is really hot and made the wine go bad, AND lots of drinks etc. was missing, so I couldnt stock the bar properly.

One would think that when something like this happens, everyone would be affected by it, but no. Everything falls down on me. I'm the one working double shifts. I'm the one who only has one day off in one week, and I'm the one being told to drink a lot of redbull to be able to manage the whole week. And even if my routa already has like 12 hours more than everyone else's, they still decide to call me and ask me if I can do a third double shift on top of that, even though everyone else also know how to work the bar. Also, they are telling me off for not having stocked the bar properly. How am I supposed to stock the bar when everything is missing? Can someone please tell me???

At the moment, I am too tired to do anything when I get home, so I can't really do anything about the little spare time I actually have. And I had planned to do some sewing now that I came back, but I don't have time to do anything about that.

Hopefully, things will be better next week. I was promised today that I wouldn't get any double shifts next week, so let's hope they will keep their promise.

Busy week

Sorry for not writing in the blog for a while. I have been very busy for the last days. When I came back to London last friday, Ellinor and I went to a pub to watch the football game where Sweden played against England. We were the only ones in there that wanted Sweden to win, so we were definately a minority in there.

Saturday and Sunday I went back to work, monday I went to Camden and had some drinks with Amalie, Thomas and Ellinor, tuesday I worked a double shift, and when I finished I met Terés in central London and had a glass of wine, and yesterday I worked an evening shift. Today, I have a day off, and have basically done nothing productive all day, which feels pretty good. I need to rest, because I have double shifts both saturday and sunday, so I'll be lucky if I'm alive next monday.

Back to London!

In half an hour, I am going to the airport to take a plane back to London! It's sad to leave the family, and I wish there would have been more time to be able to hang out with friends, but I've missed London so it feels good to go back.

As you've probably noticed, I haven't had time to write much in the blog. To explain these two weeks in short:

There has been fun moments, with a weekend in Stockholm with André (and Julia as well, on the sunday) and deadmau5, there's been a couple of graduation parties, and I've hung out with my family and my cousins. I also spent a day with my dear friend Pernilla.

Then, there's also been moments that was less fun, and even sad; first a doctor's visit (hospitals are never fun) and then the funeral of my grandfather, who passed away three weeks ago.

I've had two great weeks though, and I feel that two weeks was just enough and I'm ready to go back.

London, here I come!

Old dress

The other day, my sister tried on a dress that I made a few years ago. It is one of the few of my creations that I'm actually proud of (when it comes to my own designs, I can be very critical), and I just realised that I've never showed it in my blog.

When she was trying it on, I got a strong desire to create more, and afterwards I started looking through the fabrics I have here. Too bad my sewing machine is in London. It will have to wait until I get back... But anyway, here's the dress:

Soon, my dear friend Pernilla is coming over. I haven't seen her in almost a year, so I'm really looking forward to it! :)

Sweden's national day

Today is Sweden's national day, which means that no one in my family has to work or go to school today! I started the day with playing Zelda with Louise, and a while ago I went out for a walk with Charlotte and Mattias. Later, I think we will go down to the park here in my little home town, to see my cousins sing in the choir.

Drop the bass

Here is a video that I filmed with my mobile phone during the deadmau5 concert. Unfortunately, my phone couldn't handle the strong bass, so you can't really hear the music. But at least you can see how much fun we had!

Weekend in Stockholm!

I am now home, at my family's house in Skåne. It has been an amazing weekend in Stockholm together with my awesome friend André! When I arrived in Stockholm on Friday, André met me at the tube station and we went to his place to drop off my stuff, and later we went back into the city to go to a bar called Tiki Room, wich has a Hawaiian theme. It was a really nice and relaxed evening.

Then on Saturday it was time for the Deadmau5 concert!!! It started at 6pm and the rain was pouring down but we didn't care! The concert was amazing! The music was great, the bass was sick, we danced like crazy and everyone was just happy! It was so much fun, and when the concert ended around midnight, we were way too tired to go to the after party as we had planned. So we went home, soaking wet and cold, but very happy.

We're waiting for the concert to start!

On sunday we went to the city and met Julia! It was so nice to see her again, this time in Stockholm. It was a bit strange seeing her in Sweden, but it was a lot of fun. We went to a thai restaurant that she likes and we sat there and talked for a few hours.

 I had sushi!

Thank you André for a fantastic weekend! And thank you Julia for a really nice day!
