Mock interview

I just came home from a loooong day in uni. Although it was very long it felt very productive and I felt quite satisfied on the bus home to be honest.

The day started off with a so called "mock interview" which was an interview where we pretended it was for a fashion company that we would like to work for. I'm not going to lie, I was super nervous! Not only because we will be graded on it, but we found out beforehand that someone from Jigsaw would be there as an interviewer, which made the whole experience feel so much more like a real interview. But I think it went well. My tutor's words after: "Your interview went well. Probably better than I think you thought it did", haha. Once the interview got started I felt a bit more relaxed, and although my portfolio wasn't finished, I was happy with the work I had in there. I actually did get some nice feedback after, so who knows, maybe I got the job?

After school hours I stayed in the studio and kept working on my collection. Only two weeks to go before it all has to be finished! How surreal is that??

Now I need to slow down a bit and relax before I have to go to bed. Why not with some nice music? (And I even think I deserve a glass of wine today!)

Friday evening vibes

Icona Pop

Tobias and I just came back from Malmö, where we went to see Icona pop perform, at the Malmö festival. They were really good on stage and did a good job on getting the crowd dancing! The mood was amazing. I've seen them live once before, when they performed in a small club in London. They were fantastic then, but I would say they were even better this time! I brought my camera this time, so I managed to get a couple of photos:

Mindless self indulgence

I just saw that a band that i listened a lot to when I was 15-16 is playing in London in November. I'm not really listening to that sort of music anymore, but this band pops up in my playlists from time to time so I'm kind of considering buying tickets, just for old times sake...

Hello there, all of you who still visits my blog. I've been quite busy this weekend. Thursday I went to Your Mum's House with Ellinor, Joe and Tobias. Then the rest of the weekend I've mostly had work. As usual.

Paper thin

Started this day with some leftover pizza for breakfast and the latest episode of True blood! Now I am listening to some awesome music. I start work at 6 pm and will only have a four hour shift, so it almost feels like I have a day off!

Blue shift

Today I woke up at 10am. However, I stayed in bed until 11am, just because I could. It's the first time in weeks that I have a day off in the weekend, so I was planning on enjoying that. Then, when I finally got up from bed, I skyped for a while with my mum and dad, my sister Charlotte and her boyfriend Mattias. It was nice to talk to them, I miss them so much!


Later, Ellinor is coming back. She's been in Sweden for two weeks, so I've spent some of the day cleaning the room so that it looks nice when she comes back. I have also been in cental London today, because I needed to buy a new shirt to wear at work. My manager doesn't want me to wear a long-sleeved shirt, and she has asked me to buy a new one a couple of times and she started getting a bit annoyed at me for not doing it... None of the women's shirts can be buttoned all the way up to the collar, and the men's shirts are either long-sleeved or too big, so she has to accept that my shirt won't look that good with a tie. And frankly, I don't want to keep spending money on such a silly thing.

Now, I am going to relax and listen to music for a bit. Later tonight, I am going to a pub with a couple of friends.

Day off - finally!

Hi there! So right now I am recovering from the awfully busy weekend I've just had. I had a day off today, which I spent watching true blood, cleaning the room, listening to music and other non-important things. In the evening, I met Mo and Milton for a drink at a pub nearby, which was nice. I haven't seen them since before I went to Sweden.

Now, here's some nice music to finish off the day with. Good night!

Tomorrow will be kinder

I never want to work a double shift like this again! Never ever! I am so exhausted I can barely move, and my feet are throbbing. There was a party held upstairs in the restaurant, plus that saturday nights usually are pretty busy even without a party upstairs, and we were'nt enough staff to handle it. I have been working from 9am until after 11pm, with a one hour break from 4 to 5. On the late shift, we were so busy that we didn't get any break, and last time I had eaten was at 11am. Tomorrow I start again at 9am, and I don't know how I am supposed to make it. At least I only have one shift tomorrow and can go home at 4pm.

So, yeah, as I'm sure you understand I have to try to sleep now...

Drop the bass

Here is a video that I filmed with my mobile phone during the deadmau5 concert. Unfortunately, my phone couldn't handle the strong bass, so you can't really hear the music. But at least you can see how much fun we had!
