Back in Sweden

So this is the first time since i got to Sweden that I've been able to sit down and write in the blog! Tobias and I first arrived in Stockholm on Tuesday, and there we spent time with his family and I went to my first ever football game. Yesterday, we arrived in Skåne and my grandfather came over and had dinner with us. I've also met my sister's new puppy (which I of course took millions of pictures of, and I will share some of them here!)

Although this was not the end of my time in London, as I will come back to do the final year in uni in September, it was still sad to leave and to say goodbye to everyone.

I've had the best experiences in London, and I've met loads of amazing people. Even if people may come and go there, the friendships you've had are truly meaningful and some of them have turned out to be some of the most important ones in my life. I will always be grateful to the city for what it made me into, and for all the things I've learnt there. I'm a different person now than I was 3.5 years ago, when I first moved there. When I left Sweden the first time I was Caroline, the naive, insecure, shy 19 year old who was thrilled if someone would bother talking to her ( it's true, you should have heard me telling my parents how many people I'd talked to after a day in uni - I was thrilled). Today, I  am Laurea. I'm more confident and outgoing than I ever was before.

Almost there...

So it's been a while since my last post. There's been so much to deal with, since Tobias and I have decided to move back to Sweden!

Yep, it's happening. Didn't expect me to move back...

I have a break in my studies until September, due to my school being bought by another one, so we thought it would be best to work in Sweden during that time. So I'll be back in London in September to do my final year in uni :)

Both of us had our final shifts at work last weekend, so that we'll be able to spend our final two weeks doing things we haven't had time to do before, and of course to pack what we want to bring with us to Sweden. It's insane how much stuff you manage to collect despite the limited space we have in our flat...

I feel good about the move, though I know I will miss London a lot. It will be nice to spend time with family and friends back home :)
