Pictures of our flat
So it's finally time for me to show you some pictures of our new flat! It took a while to get all our stuff sorted, but after a trip to Ikea on sunday, we managed to get everything together. As I said, it's not big, but it's big enough for the two of us :)

Art
As I'm writing this, I am sitting in the Starbucks next door to our flat. We still don't have internet, but we have got a router and our expected "go live date" is tomorrow, so soon I won't have to go to a cafe to blog or check facebook.
Yesterday, I had nothing planned so I decided to visit the Saatchi gallery which is just a few minutes walk from our new flat. I really enjoy looking at art. It is a great source for inspiration.
I especially liked these trees made out of paper bags, created by Yuken Teruya:
Imagine the work behind this. The images here doesn't show how tiny the trees are, and that they are still connected to the paper bags. It takes precision to make these!

About our move
Yeah so I'm just going to keep you guys updated about how our move went! As I mentioned last time, we moved last Friday, and so far we really like our new place! We still have to organise some of our stuff. A lot of it is on our floor and we are trying to find a place for everything, so I won't post any pictures until we've cleared everything up. It is a studio flat, so it is not very big, but it is enough for the two of us, and we have our own kitchen and bathroom, which is amazing after living in flat shares for three years!
The area is... well, it's posh. Definitely a big contrast to Camden. And yesterday, as I had a look around, I discovered that we have the national history museum and the V&A just around the corner!
The building itself is HUGE. It is partly studio flats and partly a hotel, so when you enter the building you walk through a fancy hotel lobby. This makes it feel like we haven't actually moved, it just sort of feels like we are on a weekend trip to London. So it's pretty nice :)

Goodbye Camden
Today is my last day living in Camden. I am really gonna miss living in this area. Yesterday, while I was out running errands, I took the opportunity to take some pictures of Camden.
I've been packing all day so far, and tomorrow, we are taking all our stuff to our new flat in Chelsea. Although we will miss living in Camden, I am sure we will love it just as much in our new place :)

Update
So here is an update of what's going on in my life:
Tobias and I recently found a studio in Chelsea, so we are in the middle of all that's going on when moving. I will post pictures of the flat when we have moved in, on friday.
Last friday, I fell in the stairs at work and hurt my foot really bad. That resulted in me having to take a few days off from work, which really sucks. So I have been spending the last couple of days at home, basically doing nothing but lie down in my bed watching series. So yes, I am bored.
Right now I'm just looking forward to moving to our new flat.

Stair surfing
Why walk down the stairs when you can do this?
