The fashion show!

So Tobias and I just came home after going to my school's fashion show. I was so excited to see my trousers on the runway! They looked really good and fit the model perfectly :) We also managed to get seats at the front, so I could get some good pictures of it:

Modern Marie Antoinette

This week was the last week of the term, and now I have a little more than a week off before the next term starts. There was a lot to do for the finals, amongst them was a final big shoot for fashion styling.

The theme for this shoot was to choose a historical person and make a modern interpretation of it. I chose Marie Antoinette, who was oblivious to the fact that the French people were starving, while she was living in the wealthy palace, with more food than she could eat.

Terés was the model in this shoot :)

For the finals, I've also made a pair of trousers, which will be shown in the fashion show tonight! So I will post pictures of them after tonight :)

Voodoo Shoot

Another photo shoot! Since I was in Sweden last week, I've had to do two for today's class (the others did the food shoot last week).

The theme of this one was Voodoo, so it's a bit darker than previous photo shoots. Tobias was my model this time :)

Fashion + Food

It is time to show another photo shoot! This time, my model is my dear sister Charlotte. She was kind enough to help me while I was in Sweden :)

Tobias and I just came back to London after spending a week in Sweden. We started with visiting my family an his grandparents in Skåne, then we went to Stockholm to visit his family. The trip included a lot of travelling, but it was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from the trip:

Valentino dress

Today, in my CAD for fashion class, I tried using a drawing tablet for the first time! I've wanted to get one of those for a long time, but the good ones are usually very expensive. Now that I've tried one, I am definitely going to buy one soon. It's so different from drawing with the computer mouse!

Last week, we went to the Valentino exhibition, and then we were told to find a dress that we liked, so that we could draw it in this class. This is the dress that I chose, and underneath is my first attempt to draw on a tablet:

          

I'm gonna need to practice more, but it's a start!

Tribe shoot

Today, we got to do a photo shoot in the school's photo studio, with a professional photographer. For this photo shoot, we had to do our own interpretation on a tribe that we had been researching. I used this picture, from an African tribe called Afar, as my inspiration:

Then for the photo shoot, my friend Michelle were my model, and for the headpieces she is wearing I used old belts, chains, pearls and wire. Here's the result:
