Viewing

After breakfast, I will be off to meet up with Ellinor and then we are going to view a flat. I hope the flat is good! It sounded pretty good in the ad, and when I called yesterday, the owner sounded nice on the phone. There's really no point in writing a lot of details about the flat before I know we get it. I'll give you more later, depending on how the viewing went :)

Snow

It started snowing yesterday when Ellinor and I left starbucks, and only after a couple of hours there was a thick layer of snow on the ground! It was so nice to see some snow. I was a little disappointed when there weren't any snow in Sweden when I was there, and I really wanted to see at least a little bit of snow this winter. Unfortunately it is a bit warmer today,and the snow is melting away.

Today, I've started packing everything that I won't need at the moment, so that I will be a bit prepared for when I move out. I've filled two suitcases and I still have a lot of stuff left. Two people were supposed to come and view the room today, but I guess because of the snow it is hard to get around here in London, so they will (hopefully) come tomorrow instead.

It's funny how the whole town just stops as soon as there's some snow on the ground. You'd think that they would be more prepared...

Irish = girl?

A funny thing that happened yesterday, when Ellinor and I was at Propaganda,and that I just have to share:

I walked into the girls restroom, and a guy was in there, standing next to the sinks. When I saw him I wondered if I was in the right place so I asked him:

"Isn't this the girls room?"

His response was:

"I'm Irish." and he walked away.

Slow day

The flat/room searching continues! Though, Ellinor and I both feel very slow today. Yesterday evening, she and I went to Propaganda and danced all night. Our feet are sore and we are tired. After spending some time in the apple store (Ellinor needed a new laptop), we now sit in a starbucks with our laptops.

When we were at propaganda I was wearing my hat, and as usual people insisted on trying it on, so now my "Mad hatter" project continues!

Room available

Yesterday, Ellinor and I decided that we don't want to stay in the flat where we live now. Instead we want to find something of our own, where the two of us can live together. So we started looking on the internet and made some phone calls, but so far no luck. After that I went over to Terés and she and I had a little sleepover, which was super nice. We made facial masks and took care of our nails and such.

Today, I met up with Ellinor again, and we've spent pretty much the entire day sitting in starbucks with our computers. We still haven't found any place that we are sure of, though there are some options that have popped up, so we're not worried. The only thing I'm worrying about is that I have to find someone to move in as soon as possible.

Isnt it amazing what you can do with just one guitar?

No way!

There is no way that I'm going back to work tomorrow! Nu-uh!

Not only because of the fact that no company really has time to answer a 25-30I worked for 6 hours and got payed for less than four! It's ridiculous! I would probably gain more, using that time trying to find another job. And, to be honest, I would rather go back to Sweden than keep working at such a life sucking company!

Well well... Ellinor arrived today, and she, her aunt and I went into central London and had some dinner at a pub, which was really nice :)
