Lund

I met up with Louise in Lund today. We walked around, had a look in some shops and then had some frapinos att espresso house. After that we went to Charlotte and Mattias, where we hung out and then had some dinner, sitting outside on their balcony. It was such a nice day!

Also, on my way home, my mum called and asked if I wanted to go for a swim at Dalby Quarry, so she, Tobias and I went there for a quick swim, which was refreshing.

Sad rain

Just writing a quick post, while listening to the rain outside. We just got home from Helsingborg, where Tobias grandparents live. Unfortunately we were there for a funeral of one of their relatives, who sadly died too young.

After the funeral, my parents came over to meet Tobias parents for the first time. This was the first opportunity they've had, as my parents live here in Skåne, and his parents live in Stockholm, so it's a long way to travel, and since they were here for the funeral, they were finally in the same part of Sweden.

That's it for today, it's been a long day and we're tired.

Lovely Sunday

Charlotte and Mattias came over for dinner today. On the menu was pasta with ham and paprika made by Tobias, and for dessert we had the delicious vanilla buns that I made yesterday :)

The weather was lovely today, so we could sit outside in our garden and eat. It is one of the best things with summer, for some reason everything just tastes better when you're outdoors!

Cinema and steakhouse

Tobias and I just got home from Malmö, where we went to the cinema, and then dinner, with Charlotte, Mattias and Louise. We saw the film "The fault in our stars", which was a good film with a moving story. I really recommend it, though maybe I wouldn't watch it at the cinema if I had the opportunity to choose again. Don't get me wrong, It was really good, but the cinema is to me meant for creating an experience and really making use of the great sound systems and special effects.

For dinner, we went to a restaurant called Steakhouse, which is at Lilla torg in Malmö. I had Lamb, and it was so delicious! The only downside was that we had to wait an hour and a half for our food.

Breakfast "muffins"

I decided to try something new for breakfast today. I've seen this thing around the internet, and thought I'd give it a shot. It's breakfast "muffins", which is basically a piece of bread in the bottom of a muffin tin, with bacon wrapped around the edges and an egg in the middle, then baked in the oven.

It was super easy, and a fun change for a breakfast!

Shoppingshoppingshopping

As I had nothing planned for today, I decided to go to Emporia, which is a large shopping centre in Malmö, to buy a few things that I needed:

Maybe it's a bit odd, but I enjoy going shopping on my own. I can look around in my own pace and I don't have to worry about anyone else but me. I can think about an item as long as I need before I buy it. It sounds now like I'm a really slow shopper, which I am not, but having others with me still makes me stressed and If I happen to think about buying something for a while, I don't want anyone to have to wait for me.

Feeling good

Today became some sort of "take care of myself"-day. First i went on a long walk with Zigge, then later I went on a run. After I'd showered, I treated my hands and my feet. My feet because they're dry, and my hands because I've realized that I bite my nails less if I take care of my hands.

I use lotions from "soap & glory". I have several of their products, and in my experience they are really good and always smell nice.
